Let’s see if we can pin down where the problem is. Can you open the drag & drop uploader? If you can, you can drag any JPG, GIF, or PNG file, or collection of such files, into one of the image drop zones, and it, or they, should upload. However, you won’t see them yet in your resources.
At this point, the files have uploaded to our server space. You have to refresh your files to see them on your computer. To do that, click on the small circular button in the Key. It’s below the big “+” button that opens the uploader. After refreshing your files, you should see the newly uploaded ones.
When you accumulate enough projects and resources, they don’t scroll endlessly but are divided into chunks to be displayed in the resource panel on different “pages.” If you see numbers at the bottom of the resource panel, your resources are on more than one “page.” I mention this, because perhaps your files have uploaded but aren’t on that first page. Take a look for them on a different “page.”
There’s a kooky version of Firefox that opens screens behind the parent screen that spawned them. Any chance the uploader is hiding back there? If you’re using Firefox and don’t see the uploader after trying to open it, try minimizing your workBench screen, and see if anything is behind it.
If you can’t open the drag & drop uploader, perhaps try it in a different browser. It should work fine in IE, Firefox, and Safari. You can also used the basic uploader as a back-up too.
I’m not sure I’m on the right tract and helping you, so give me some more information on how far you got in the process. We need to solve this problem, so you can use any logos and photographs you like!
I had an “AHA” reading Ron’s mention of refreshing the Resource file list and also the “hidden” additional pages of resources. Sometimes the workBech is too smart and intuitive for my own good! Every little icon and symbol has a logical meaning, and many times I feel silly when I realize what was right in front of me. Very cool tool that I am learning along with our teacher-members of the BLP!
Hey Everyone,
I’m glad you find things intuitive Candace, even though it would be better if things were intuitive and also you first instinct
On that note, if anyone feels something is unintuitive and would benefit from a change (perhaps a button should be moved), or if you have an idea for an important additional feature, feel free to share the idea with us here:

We always have our ears open.
And thanks…
